You can register for EMIS Access where you can order repeat prescriptions and book appointments on-line.
Prescription Reviews
Every so often you will be called for a medication review, this will be via a message on your prescription or by text. The date your review is due is on your prescription. Occasionally the Doctor may review your prescription without you needing to attend.
Batch Prescribing
If you have had a recent medication review and you wish to obtain your prescriptions from the chemist without having to attend the surgery please speak to a receptionist.
Acute Prescriptions
You may have had medication from a Doctor on a previous visit, this medication can be requested again using the repeat prescription method, however, please allow more time for this request as it will need to be reviewed by a Doctor first.
Hospital or Private Prescription
These prescriptions should be picked up at the appropriate hospital. If they are brought to the surgery you should not expect an NHS prescription immediately.
Alternatively, you can request your medications via this form. Please allow 48 hours turnaround in all cases. If you are running very short of your medications you can obtain an emergency supply from your Pharmacy. Alternatively, please inform us when you request your meds if you have or are due to run out.
