Patients on regular medication prescribed by the Doctor should always use their computerised repeat slip (attached to their previous prescription), ticking the items you require. If you do not have a repeat form then please put the request in writing, including your name and address, the medication you require and the dosage. Either post or fax this to us, or drop it off in the surgery in the repeat box by reception. You can also register for our on-line booking and prescription request service. Please see reception for the appropriate forms. If you wish us to post your prescription please leave a stamped addressed envelope. You must allow 48 working hours to collect your prescription.
Name, address, medication and dosage is required, due to the high volume of patients we cannot reply to any emails.
Every so often you will be called for a medication review, this will be via a message on your prescription. The date your review is due is on your prescription. Occasionally the Doctor may review your prescription without you needing to attend.
If you have had a recent medication review and you wish to obtain your prescriptions from the chemist without having to attend the surgery please speak to a receptionist.
You may have had medication from a Doctor on a previous visit, this medication can be requested again using the repeat prescription method, however please allow more time for this request as it will need to be reviewed by a Doctor first.
Hospital or Private Prescription
These prescriptions should be picked up at the appropriate hospital. If they are brought to the surgery you should not expect a NHS prescription immediately.
You can send us details of the medication you require with doses.
Alternatively if you are registered for EMIS Access you can order repeat prescriptions and book appointments on-line.
PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT REPSOND TO EMAILS OR TEXTS, SORRY.
